Today I took my words for a walk to see the world they once brought to life. Words to heal, words to mend, words to hurt, and words to be. All my words, my shelter and my home, I could not find you for a while. They cut you and you ran away.
Now you're back, look where we are. Strange joy walking around these San Francisco hills, smiling like a fool. Crossroads and hello, and why do I hope for timelines crossing.
Suite from the Gadfly and we're back at daydreaming. I think I've dreamt my whole life away, but you're there to wake me up. Word's out about the dream machines, you like them; I do too.
At last, words in context and you write stories now. The big stories that shatter and break until they don't, until there you are, found yourself again.
At ease walking together today. Ink on blank, that's how you break free.
